OGA Golf Club – Junior Golf Programs
The OGA Golf Course is also excited to announce a new program PGA Junior League.
PGA Junior League is designed to better socialize the game for boys and girls. PGA Jr League introduces boys and girls ages 7-13 to competitive golf through team vs. team competitions in structured leagues with a scramble format. This is a great way to introduce your child to competitive golf.
Fall courses will be available soon. Please check back for online registration link and PGA Junior League Fall Schedule.
The OGA Golf Course is proud to announce that The First Tee Junior golf program will be back this Spring for all Junior golfers in the Greater Portland, Woodburn and surrounding areas. The eight week courses run from July 5th-August 2016.
What is The First Tee
The First Tee is an initiative created by the World Golf Foundation in 1997, serving to impact the lives of children by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character-development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. Although there are many sports that teach valuable lessons, The First Tee is unique in that it proactively teaches valuable life skills and healthy habits as part of the basic instruction program. In short The First Tee is an exciting way to combine golf instruction with important core values that will benefit your child now and in the future.
