OGA Golf Course is one of only six amateur golf associations in the United States to own and operate a for-profit public golf facility—created with a clear mission: to support amateur and junior golf in Oregon.
Established to reduce the burden of hosting championships on courses throughout the region, OGA Golf Course now plays a vital role in accommodating the Oregon Golf Association and Oregon Junior Golf Association’s growing competition schedule. Together, these organizations present more than 100 days of competition annually, delivering over 10,000 rounds of competitive golf to players ages eight and up.
Located just 30 miles south of downtown Portland, the OGA Golf Course opened its first nine holes in 1994, with a second nine added in 1996. For more than two decades, the course has welcomed the public while remaining deeply committed to player development, championship golf, and providing opportunities for golfers of all abilities to play, compete, and enjoy the game.
Designed by Bill Robinson, the facility features a full-service practice area and year-round player development programs for juniors and adults alike—continuing its legacy as Oregon’s Home of Amateur Golf.
