Welcome to the OGA Women’s Club
The OGA Women’s Golf Club welcomes all women golfers who have an OGA GHIN handicap. We are a friendly, 18-hole women’s group, with diverse backgrounds and skills, who have a great love for the game. If you are interested in organized play and a lot of fun on a great course, in which you have the option of playing from the #1 or #2 tees, come and join us.
Benefits of joining the OGA Women’s Club are fixed tee times on Thursday mornings from April 1st to October 28th, planned weekly games in which we use the World Handicap System (Net Double Bogey) for calculating both gross and net scores (this gives everyone a chance to win), and pro-shop discounts.
Special events include a drive, chip, and put clinic with the assistant pros, Mike Snyder and Hannah Stobie, Guest Day, the Men’s/Women’s/High School Tournament, the Home and Home Tournament (an event with other women’s clubs which we are hosting this year), the Mystery Tour, the Solheim Cup, Beat the Pro, and the Club Championship.
After the season is over, on December 2nd, we will gather for our annual Christmas party at the Tukwila Rec Center. We will have dinner, drinks, and a low-cost gift exchange. We also recap our year, hand out awards, and celebrate another great golf season.
If you do not have an established handicap, we can help you get started. The cost is $57 which you can pay at the pro shop or on-line. Your contribution helps with the expense of our printing costs, our socials, and our prizes. If you have your handicap with another club, you may become a “social member” in our club for $25.00.
