Shamrock Shamble
The 2025 Shamrock Shamble is now live on our website! This is a four-person shamble event. The format is each player on a team tees off, then the team selects the best drive. Tip of the Month
On the lesson tee I get a lot of people looking to “be more consistent”. The best way to be consistent is to make sure your pre-swing fundamentals are consistent. That means your posture, grip and alignment are all the same, that your ball position is in a good spot, you have the same distance from the ball. The idea here is to set yourself up for success, if we start with an inconsistent set up, we will get inconsistent results.

Superintendent's Update
It’s about that time again. Spring is about here, and routine maintenance is about to begin. We have been busy getting some smaller projects done and will hopefully continue this month.
I would like to begin some tee leveling, but it may get pushed back to next month. There is also drainage that could be done. A few of the dead trees have been taken down with more to come. Irrigation flushing and testing will be happening also. Don’t be surprised to see sprinklers on, even while it is raining. Some of the projects listed here and in my own notes may be pushed back until after aerification.
Aerification will be the 24th-26th. Greens will be first, followed by tees. I may get a few of the fairways done if time allows. We will be aerifying, seeding, and sanding the left rough on #15 this spring. This will have to be done regularly for a while to get it like the way it was before the construction.
Other than that, we are just mowing any chance we get for the time being. We are left at the mercy of the weather during this month.
Enjoy the beginning of the season and March Madness.
Happy golfing!
Cheers!
